Permanent funds for programs keep the college’s offerings competitive, varied and timely.

Reliable long-term support from an endowment allows Westmont to develop stronger teaching programs, 投资新技术, and maintain laboratories and other physical assets. Providing funds for the maintenance of college facilities ensures that the campus environment will enhance the educational program far into the future.

In 1982 this endowed fund was established in honor of Mildred J. 亚当斯的姐夫罗伊. Adams, who was a retired missionary to China and Japan. She hoped this would spark the interest of Westmont students in missions and provide them with information on the opportunities for service around the world. The fundamental purpose of the lectureship is to inform students and faculty of the nature and function of missions in today’s rapidly changing world. 同时, it seeks to provide them with the information and experience necessary to move into formal preparation for a career as a Christian witness in another culture. The lectureship draws upon the expertise of key missionary figures, 来自其他国家的基督教领袖, resources from a host of missionary organizations, and the experience of Westmont missionary alumni. 艺术中心楼宇维修基金

The 艺术中心楼宇维修基金 was established in the early 1990s. The fund formerly supported the Reynolds Art Gallery and now supports the Adams Center for the Visual Arts. 这个养老 helps fund the upkeep and maintenance of the Center and its surroundings, including improving the display areas for artwork.

Thomas and Vivian Nelson Athletic Fund

Thomas and Vivian Nelson established the Thomas and Vivian Nelson Athletic Fund in 1998. They are friends and parents of Westmont College, and Tom has been a trustee of Westmont College since 1993. The Thomas and Vivian Nelson Athletic Fund supports Westmont, encourages excellence in athletics and provides funds for the discretionary use of the Director of ag娱乐官网.  ​​​​​​

Robin Elizabeth Pascal World Christianity Series

Dr. 约翰W. Raede奖

的博士. 约翰W. Raede奖于2002年首次颁发. Dr. John Raede was a professor at Westmont for 15 years. He was fluent in at least 5 languages and taught several languages at Westmont including German, 西班牙语, 和俄罗斯. In June of 1982, he disappeared while studying the Minangkabau ethnic group in West Sumatra. This scholarship is awarded to students with outstanding scholastic achievement in the field of modern languages. 

John Stauffer Charitable Trust Summer Science 研究 Program

The Paul and 桃瑞丝 Wilt History 研究 Award Fund

保罗枯萎, Emeritus Professor of History at Westmont College, 还有他的妻子, 桃瑞丝, established the Paul and 桃瑞丝 Wilt History 研究 Award Fund.  Paul taught history at Westmont for 36 years and then worked as Westmont’s archivist. 这个养老 encourages historical consciousness and rewards careful scholarship. 自1999年以来, this award has been awarded annually to the student with the most distinguished history reSearch project or paper.
